Yunbing HOU is a professor working at the China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). He is born in February 1962, Shanxi Province, P. R. China. Dr. Hou received his PhD from University of Science and Technology Beijing. From 1991 to 1993, he was a postdoctoral fellow at China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing. Dr. Hou is a professor of School of Energy and Mining Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing. Dr. Hou works and teaches on all aspects of the area including mining engineering, systems engineering, coal mining industry policy, digital and intelligent mining. He has undertaken the national key research and development special project, the National Twelfth Five-Year Science and Technology Support Program, the National Natural Science Foundation Projects (6 items), the National Energy Administration Key Projects, the Provincial Major Scientific and Technological Projects, the Provincial Torch Project and the Horizontal(enterprises)Projects. The projects won more than 10 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress awards. Major publications and papers are as follows:
